Core

My unique qualities: I don't follow the crowd. I like to do my own thing. I enjoy sleeping, chilling with friends and going to work so I can have money. I love singing and doing anything that has to do with music. The thing that makes me different from most people is that I'm a quiet and humble person.

Most important things in my life:..I would say to finish school and go right to college.

Looking back: My accomplishments have been somewhat ok, but I could have done better.

Activities/ habits have interfered with me leading a successful life: When I had my car I used to leave school when I should have stayed and because of this I'm behind just a little bit.

Hardest times in my life: Losing my car was the worst thing that ever to happen to me. I've learned and now I know not to fall asleep when I'm driving

Things I would have done differently Well, I would have finished high school on time, and I would be a little further in life than I am now.

Advice to a younger person: Take life one step at a time and don't rush. Also remember that life is what you make of it.

My life when I am 55: I would like to have a BMW, a nice job, a big house and be established in my career.

Living well: ...is being stable in everything you do and knowing what's up ahead.

The good life: ...money, a nice car, big house and a good paying job.

Life philosophy: Life is what you make it. If you make bad choices you are going to have to suffer those consequences. If you make good choices you're going to have a nice outcome. It is all about choices.

One lesson I have from life: Never drive if you're sleepy.

Think of something you have a strong desire to possess. Now if you could have this thing today but possessing it would give you an even stronger desire for something else that you don't have, would you still want that first thing?: No

Why did you answered this way? I don't want everything at once. There is no use in having everything you want because you can't take it with you.

Life is short: So make the best of it

What I want to accomplish before I die:I want all of my goals to be accomplished and to know that I got to do everything I wanted to do in life. I also want the world to know that I was an easy person to get along with.

My purpose in life:To finish school on time, get a car and stay focused at all times.

Next year:I hope my life can go back the way it used to be: going to church and doing well in everything with no problems. I'm also going to stay away from negative people. I will get my car and keep it this time.

Things that might interfere with me accomplishing my one year goals: I don't want to answer this question because it is too deep to get into at this time.

An area that I might want advice from an adult: Life After High School. your input?

Learning from others' lives: I think it is possible to learn from other people because they have gone through a lot to get where they are now.

Here are the mentors' web sites I have produced:

One thing that caught my attention during my interview with Dorothy was when she was talking about living life to the fullest. Also when she spoke about all the illnesses that occurred in her body, and how she doesn't give up but she continues on. That's what I call a woman with determination. That helped me to understand, that even though you go through an unbearable situation there is always hope in the end. She dropped that wonderful thought down inside of me and I truly want to say, "Thank you". Little words can send someone a long way...

I also would like to comment on Rick. I would say that Rick is a man of responsibility. He was at home, by himself and still continued to go to school. If that was me, I wouldn't go to school, I would be out partying. So that really shows me that he knows what he is doing. I commend him for continuing to go to school and further his education.
