Larry's day
Noon
The last thing I have on my mind is lunch, so I generally eat on the fly. At least once a week I have meetings that are not directly related to my building company. I am the first vice president of the Home Builder's Association of this county. Committee meetings are usually held around noon and lunch is served. Back on the construction sites I spend time with customers, showing them the different stages of the building process. I am always teaching but I am also learning. I go back and forth from my office to job sites, meetings, suppliers' offices, or I look at other houses that are under construction. (This helps me to keep up with the competition. I'm always trying to do something different in my own home designs. When others duplicate my work, I change the designs so I stay "current".) The nice thing about having a flexible schedule, is that when a friend asks me to join him for a cruise down the Detroit river or if I feel like taking in a movie to relax my mind, I do it! |
